Skiing4all is running a competition to offer one person with learning disabilities the chance to enjoy a free skiing break in Austria this November.

All entries need to be submitted before 25 October. And the winner must be able to take the holiday from Thursday 12 November to Monday 16 November 2009.

The prize is a five-day break in Zell am See-Kaprun, skiing on a one-to-one basis with Anna – a professional British psychologist and qualified skiing instructor who runs Skiing4all.  The winner will stay in a luxury apartment sleeping up to four people, which allows for the family, carer or guardian to attend (note: only the winner receives the free holiday, though anyone under 18 years old in the same group will get free equipment hire).

Skiing4all offers special therapy programmes to anyone with cognitive and learning disabilities, for all ages and from complete beginners. The programmes combine personal development with adventure and the therapeutic benefits of the great outdoors. Every course is based on one-to-one tuition with Anna on Kaprun’s Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Other activities such as swimming and horse riding are also included.

The Skiing4all programmes can run from November to May due to the year-round operation on high glacier slopes.
