Saas Fee is a picture postcard example of the recent Alpine snowfall this week, in particular Swiss Alpine snowfall. Doesn’t it look stunning?
Those mouthwateringly tempting mountains are only open for glacier skiing at the moment, but the snow is fantastic. The resort received another 25cm fresh powder overnight last night, and this was the result once the weather cleared. Bluebird morning.
The glacier slopes now have over 2m settled snow base, the resort covering amounts to 40cm (though it’s a little wetter in condition). The four lifts are operating again, but you’ll have to wait until December to taste the rest of the mountain. Let’s hope the snowfalls continue…
