Summary

Baqueira’s village is not inspiring, but the resort has a well-linked and developing ski area that appeals to intermediates. It’s fine for beginners too. The smart, family-oriented resort attracts an almost entirely Spanish clientele (which regularly includes their royal family), so don’t count on English being spoken. But there are good quality hotels and some newer chalets.
