Summary
This area links the cute, compact resort of Maria Alm to the sprawling village of Mühlbach via the small, rustic villages of Hinterthal and Dienten (which is the best base, being in the centre of the area). The slopes in between are an undiscovered intermediate playground and in the last few years, the lift system has been vastly improved with the addition of fast new lifts in key places.
