Summary
Le Massif is one of several small ski areas close to the historic Québec City. It offers a dramatic setting in an UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve overlooking the St Lawrence river; views of the ice floes from the summit lodge are stunning. The varied, treelined slopes offer Eastern Canada’s biggest vertical at 770m. The resort is expanding, with new rail links, lodging and lifts; but most visitors stay nearby in the historic and lively Québec City.
