Summary
Infamously lager-lout territory 30 years ago, Sauze still has lots of lively bars and shops festooned in English signs (and young Brits working in them); but it is a much more civilized place now, populated by grown-up Brits and Italian weekenders – this is Turin’s closest major ski area. We’ve grown to like it.
Sauze now has a different problem: investment, lack of. It needs comprehensive snowmaking, and it needs new lifts. What the resort seems to be doing of late is reshuffling the lifts it already has.
