Summary

Seefeld is a classic winter holiday resort, well designed in traditional Tirolean style, with a large pedestrian-only centre and lots of upmarket hotels. Lots of people come here to enjoy the superb cross-country trails and off-slope activities, but there are two main downhill sectors on the outskirts that have intermediate runs of decent vertical. There’s a good long red run back to village level and a gentle nursery area too. But overall the terrain is far too limited to keep most folk entertained for a week’s stay. You can always make excursions to Innsbruck, not far away and easily reached by train, or to the Stubai and Zugspitze glaciers.
