Summary
Killington caters mainly for weekend visitors who drive in from the east-coast cities. It claims to have the largest mountain and longest season in the eastern US, and the biggest snowmaking installation in the world. These things may matter if your choice of destination is limited to those in the eastern US. In the general scheme of things, they count for very little. Killington is a minor resort, chiefly of interest if you find yourself within driving distance at a time when conditions look good. But the slopes are varied, with something for all standards. The lack of any real village is a drawback though.
