Summary
Nendaz is a sizeable place linked to the Verbier ski area. The resort is mainly apartment-based but built in traditional chalet style around the old village of Haute-Nendaz – with its narrow streets, old houses and barns. The local slopes are north-facing, with snow-sure nursery areas and a handful of gentle blues and shady reds. Although Nendaz appears centrally set, getting to and from the other sectors is a slow business unless you drive/take the bus to Siviez. Key links have no snowmaking and the return slopes involve an itinéraire and black run.
