Review of Les Menuires
I always swore I would not return to overpriced 3V but “temptation”. After an interesting overnight TGV from Paris (don’t mention all the broken ticket machines for the metro at Gare de Nord) an eight day extravaganza in what were technically poor conditions of no snow and brown hillsides. Which brings one to Les Menuires - super new chalet company - Silverlining - and what a revelation of a resort. Absolutely fabulous snowmaking - the pistes were the best in the 3V (well apart from Mont Vallon of course) - well done Les Menuires. Oh, and one more plug - the Ferme de Reberty - really good food and beer at reasonable prices - what a revelation for the 3V. Generally food much better and prices much more competitive at Les Menuires than rest of 3V. I might even go back next year!
