Review of Livigno
We all loved it. Two intermediate boarders, an advanced young skier and two child (15 & 7yrs old) board learners.
The low slopes from the San Rocco side continuing to the main town are great beginner material. Wide. Very gentle. The kids came on great. It has a snowboard specific school in “Madness” who run Burton’s “Learn to Ride” programme. That can include lessons in the park… for which I’m not yet brave enough.
The two mountains provided fun reds with the odd bit of off piste.
Restaurants weren’t too dear with us all eating for about ?10 a head every night and we were made really welcome. (The mountaintop service stations had the usual inflated costs). Nights in could be great too with very cheap spirits. The pubs were dead later in the evening though.
Yeah the drive was long from Bergamo. About four hours. But we’re all intent on going back!
