Review of La Plagne

16th February 2007 by Tracie Blanchard

We booked a family holiday at the end of January 2007 - a mixed group of all abilities.
On the whole we found La Plagne a varied place to ski, the snow was okay when we visited although towards the end of the week it was patchy and icy. The lifts were excellent with no queues, and the slopes were uncrowded - often there were only a few of us on the slopes, especially in the morning. However we did find the grading of the slopes inconsistent. Some of the blues were extremely difficult and in our experience more like reds - this is not a resort for nervous intermediates.
For beginners there are also very few greens.
