Review of Park City

15th August 2010 by Anne N

Basing yourself at Park City gives you easy access to the slopes in Deer Valley, The Canyons, and Park City itself. We hired a car but didn’t need it because the free local buses were very frequent and reliable. The snow was fantastic the week we were there (3rd April 2010). Apparently it was exceptional for that time of year so it may be worth considering going earlier in the season to be more sure of the conditions. The ‘town centre’ is definitely the place to stay, giving you access to bars, restaurants and the bus station.

I can highly recommend the Washington School Inn for somewhere to stay. The inn is geared towards skiers and snowboarders, the staff were fantastic and the rooms really clean and cosy. For your first trip to ski the US, Park city is a great choice and won’t let you down.
