Fresh snow above 1500m in the Tuxertal (Tirol) this morning

Some fresh snow has fallen in the Alps this week, mostly in modest quantities, but with some moderate accumulations at altitude in parts of Austria.

More widespread snow is likely across the Alps on Sunday and early next week, mostly above 1500m, but lower for a time in places. Looking further ahead, there is no significant change to the weather pattern meaning that it will remain changeable but relatively mild with no prolonged spell of cold on the horizon.
